Yes, I am, if everyone would abide by it. I'm watching Gov. Cuomo and he is chastising those who are not abiding by it. He said there are still too many who are not paying attention and gathering in larger groups, like to play basketball in the parks. I guess it is just like other laws, there are always lawbreakers who feel like it doesn't apply to them.
There is still a lot of latitude.... we can still go outside of our homes, just stay a distance from others. We can shop for groceries and medicines, go for drives or walks, pick up food from restaurants to take home or somewhere else to eat. And there are many who still go to work.
There are common sense precautions when we are out around where other people are or have been.
I'm sad to see some stores are closed though, because even if they aren't "essential", it's not like there are crowds of people inside them at any given time, and many of those are small specialty shops that are taking an awful financial hit.
But overall, I believe the strict measures are necessary, even if overdone in some areas.


Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
