It amazes me how the Democrats are screaming that the Republicans are contriving this all behind closed doors and won't be giving them time to study the bill before the vote............... uh, ain't no fun when the rabbits got the gun, huh?

From what I just read, what is proposed is no better than what we had before. The people lose again!!

What's really killing health care is the price of the care. When a doctor can walk in your hospital room and charge you $200.00 for a two minute visit, and that's just the room you are in. So let's say she has ten patients on that same floor, that's 2 grand in 20 minutes. I have nothing against people making money, but for most people, they don't even make that much in a month!

I just got out of the hospital, so I do know what I am talking about. $82,500.00 dollars for 8 days in a hospital, over $25,000.00 for doctors, radiologists lab work, etc... and now I am back in debt! Joy joy happy happy!!

I agree that Obama Care is not a cure all but I am grateful to have it. I went for years with Health Insurance but seldom using it because even with the deductible it was not affordable.

I remember my late husband not being able to get insurance because a previous heart attack but ended up thousands of dollars in debt because of Heart Attack#2 and a stroke just before his 65th birthday.

There are several reasons why Health Care is so outrageously high. Doctors have huge student loans to pay off. Malpractice insurance in West Virginia is so high that several physicians have left the state. There are also a number of people who can't afford Health Insurance or even the medical expenses that go with it if they do have Health Insurance. The cost is carried over to the rest of us.

The Medical Care system needs a major overhauling but I am not sure that dismantling Obama Care is the answer. All the other Nations manage to have health care for it's citizens. I don't know why the United State doesn't.
