Well, it is their right to not stand, but it is also the right of their owners and coaches to not let them play. Of course, that is one heck of a lot of money to pay someone to sit on the bench...... but the point would be well received by most patriotic Americans.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Lulu...no way you'll ever get these people to listen. They do not understand what you are saying. Paying lip-service to American patriotism is more important than human life for them.

They don't care about funding Zika research, "they honour and respect" war veterans but wont increase funding for them! There are more than 62.000 homeless veterans living on the streets in America, a national disgrace for a country where the mantra is "Respect Our Veterans" They tell us There are no "poor people in America, only lazy people who want to live at the taxpayers expense" And who knows how many children are being abused every day?

And these "patriots" are irate over what they call "disrespecting our flag"
Seems an empty gesture made by rote is all they are interested in.

WHAT ABOUT RESPECTING THEIR FELLOW COUNTRYMEN FOR A CHANGE!?

With all the black men in the U.S. being afraid to leave their house after years of being harassed and stopped by the police, treated like dirt, have guns pointed at their backs, wrestled to the ground, tasered, and then worrying about being shot for no reason other than they were black. You can see from countless police and bystander videos that even after these black men are shot by the police and lying on the ground, the police don't even check to see if they're still breathing or render any aid to them and just let them lay there in their own blood and die.

I think those football players are heroes to protest this in any way they choose.

That's what you call freedom? That's ,more important than the veterans sleeping on the streets? I don't see you complaining about them?
And they are the ones who earned that freedom for you!
Of course that would mean paying more tax.

Standing to pay lip service costs nothing.

BTW...do you think ALL liberals are spongers? Or are you just trying to insult me?

You neither have the intelligence nor the ability to do so...your "patriotism" extends only to a flag and an anthem which you cannot translate into respect for your fellow countrymen. You've certainly proved that.

Is that the question you mean? Because it's the only question in your blog.
All I can say is that you have less intellect than I thought

BTW... The NFL is a non-profit organization, specifically a 501(c)(6) organization, with that designation referring to the portion of the IRS tax code that defines Business Leagues, Chambers of Commerce, and Boards of Trade.

Do not confuse it with a 501(c)(3) non-profit, which is designated for religious, charitable, or scientific non-profit organizations.

There is no owner of the National Football League.

The league exists with the stated purpose to advance and promote the game of football, and is composed of an executive board made up of 31 owners and a representative from the Packers, who are grandfather claused in as collectively owned
