If I loved you.

If I loved you.

If I loved you then you would know,
how the leaves would fall to a gentle drift.
You would know a melting and a gentle uplift,
as if your heart was to a breeze,
in the velvet lining of sweet comfort’s glow.

Each second would be an hour,
of a future’s delicate fall to a distant space,
and no more tender touch in quivering trace,
will shape your beauty’s outline,
to awaken the fount of the delicate flower.

If I loved you to soft yielding,
the gentle press would give all saturate,
and excite the rise to a euphoria’s elevate,
such gasping sensitivity’s outpour,
has your heady imagination building

If I ever loved you to such full degree,
then only love's return could ever comfort me.

Yes, I think that everything seems to move in slow motion at times.

When it comes to partnerships and things, Rocket; there always has to be one of the pair who will push things along, not fast but with a gentle nudge to get things moving. I am quite impatient and will busy myself along... But, as you wrote a time before...Nice and slow does it for you and that's a cautious trait; but as long as you get there in the end!
