Eyes closed to the night.

EYES CLOSED TO THE NIGHT

If you really love me
Then close your eyes to the light
And be blind to harsh reality’s sunshine
Let a sensual dream bathe in soft shadows
That perfume the mind to what we have
A nighttime of love is a lasting pleasure
And as long as your eyes stay closed
Then a short day becomes a longest night

When feelings are adrift to sensual nature
And time has no emergency’s alarm
Then does the envelope of dark
Bring you alive to the sweet sensitivity
Of a fondest love and it’s pleasuring touch
And the consequence of clear sight
With it’s sharp outlines and angled cuts
Is lost to a nature of gentle impressions

I am love and hold you to the night
And each touch is a whispered vibration
Which cocoons you in a silken yarn
Until the night’s breath quickens the pace
So you know the urgency of a needing
And open to the joys of spontaneity
Pleasuring is all the extremes of sensuality
When love’s eyes are closed to the night
