For who pens the write.

FOR WHO PENS THE WRITE.

The sad of a lonely night
Is inspiration for the romantic poet’s pen
For only those who have lost love
Are capable of writing beautiful poetry
And of they who have never known love
It is a snapped finger against thumb
As the mind fills a heavy ledger of profit
And the poet who retains a sweet love
Simply laughs and pens a limerick

I am in joy of the dark
And such memories as a heart stirs
That I write… Did she ever love me?
Those words said in so easy excite
While eyes deepened to encourage belief
That each weed picked
Was to my love’s eye a precious rose
That each word spoken to my heart
Was more an inspired spark of religion

Was she more fair to have existed
Sweet excellent memory
That I pen such poetry from sad hurting
And more’s the beauty to its style
My ink is the damp of tears
The lines of the page are torn heartstrings
The pen is a torment’s thorn
And I am master of beauty’s poem
For I am to lost love who pens the write
