Shadows.

SHADOWS.

Come sweet love, move into me as tender
As a shadow thrown to a casting light
Yet softly felt to a senseless wonder
This heaven's bright, the shine of me tonight

Enlighten my secret soul to passion
And flare the pathway in softening flame
Light the closing dark of lone existence
This ration which binds to a holding frame

Come sweet love, set the fire to a glowing
And inner eyes are to soft knowledge grown
Set light to a heart that my sight is clear
And so in knowing are soft shadows thrown

Love, in commence is no more gently called
Than a shadow's dance when a light’s installed
