M'Lady and the Jester.

M’LADY AND THE JESTER.

The little court Jester-man
Did love M’lady so
He was M’lady’s biggest fan
Everyone did know.

The torches were all burning
Jester fancy-dressed
And his little heart was yearning
To be M’lady’s best.

Today was castle dancing
All seated to adore
And M’lady looked enchanting
Jester loved her more.

M'lady sat in the banquet hall
In finest satin gown
And there, beside her on a stall
Sat M'lady's little clown.

The music played a merry tune
M'lady waved a hand
Up jumped Jester, crazy loon
Just as M'lady planned.

Poor court Jester sang a song
As M’lady smiled
Danced he, the whole night long
Utterly beguiled.

M’lady tired of the simple mind
Toddled off to bed
Leaving the poor Jester behind
And chopper got his head!

Oh, and I meant to write that the drawings are supposed to be copied out onto A4 paper and coloured in...Only by the children though!
