the're are two schools on this.
1) tRump wants JS gone so he can appoint someone more liberal
2) its all a smokescreen to take the media on a wild goose chase
I dunno
Excusing himself was the proper thing to do perhaps, but maybe not in this game of crooks and criminals and tools.
JS may be above it all personally, and focusing on all the righteous things. Maybe I am getting too impatient to see Obozo, Hildabeaste and on down get what they gots coming
Maybe that isn't going to happen via this administration

like pretty much everything else Trump does. almost every single firing, and lambasting. is done because he can't control that person. Loyalty and leaks is not about what those terms mean, loyalty and leaks is about control.

Trump want Jeff Sessions to resign so he can appoint someone he can control.
He did the same thing with Comey. The difference between Comey and Session is that Comey let him play his game, thinking it didn't matter, until it did matter. Session is loyalty and it's not a game to Sessions
the irony about Trump is he had SOME control with Sessions, but that's not good enough he wants complete control. He wants the Department of Justice to be HIS department of Justice. Session drew a line there.
