I can't believe the head of the Catholic church would ever say anything like that, not out loud anyway. I'm not a believer but the Pope's visit really affected me and I found myself crying several times as I watched that crowd of believers, when the Pope conducted mass, and especially when he visited that school in Harlem. I remember the peaceful feeling I had when I was a young girl and a devout Catholic, but now the belief and that peaceful feeling have gone away completely. If there is a God, I wonder why he makes certain people with the capacity to believe, yet he makes other people without the capacity to believe?

John 14:6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.
