What Sally says about Suzie says more about Sally than Suzie. I've recently started responding to a few intelligent, nice and funny blogs but sadly as a 'newbie' I'm seeing a lot of friction here. It's a bit sad this being my first blog here I am having to address a view on bickering, but reluctantly I will. I dont really know anyone here very well. I'm only going to look at blogs that are not in anyway involved with arguments. If I accidentally stumble into a blog of that nature, I'll click out of it straight away. I'll not be influenced or convinced by anyone to take sides against another. What I will say though is, those who are persistently fighting each other, their blogs I will bypass reading them. I'm not into the, "Ner nerny ner ner so there!  " scene. I'm perplexed that at our age this stuff gets so out of hand. I dont need anyone to comment on this blog, that's not what it's about. I probably wont respond to many replies, there's no need, it's self explanatory. I just hope to have fun, a laugh and give and receive good advice to and from those who want/love/or need it. Hi Hermit: Good blog. All these ongoing feuds and insults in this group are just awful. Aren't these people taking into account that we seniors don't have many years left on this earth and that possibly their petty feuds are wrecking the blogs for everyone else???

Welcome to blogs. Don't be a stranger to them. Blog some, chat, get to know who the ones are you do not care to read. Find out where there are Bashes and get togethers and meet people in person if possible. There is a bash the end of May in Nashville, Yellowduck has information, type in his handle.

Welcome to the blogs, Hermit!! Yes, that's what many of us do.... skip over the blogs which are contentious to us. I really love a good discussion, but as soon as someone starts tossing in personal insults or broad generalizations, the discussion is over. There's no reason not to keep discussions civil....imho.

I didn't realize you're new here, hermit. Welcome.  I've seen your comments on my posts and always enjoy reading what you have to say. I wrote the same kind of post as this one, when I joined early this year. I'm glad your attitude is to ignore the nasty posts and enjoy the nice ones. That's the best approach, so have fun.
