 Aretha Franklin is an amazing singer. LuLu, I remember another incident where something happening in the U.S. made me cry too.

I was staying in an out of town lodge for six weeks while having cancer treatments. It was in 2008 and a bunch of patients and nurses were in the lounge watching the election results. We all thought John McCain was going to win, but when CNN announced that President Obama won I found myself crying like a baby with tears of happiness. I hadn't cried in years so I was surprised and embarrassed to be crying especially in front of people, but when I looked around everyone in the room was crying too and cheering.
