This is one of the things we were taught in high school history class with lots of examples regarding how the sides switched philosophy over time. While most people know this I think most get too caught up in the emotion of the moment. Probably takes an outsider who is not involved to remind us. I also think that perhaps many of us in our age groups have a problem with change.

Hey Lulu, try this one on for size, and just letting you know, I'm neither right, nor left, because now I can't tell one from the other.

The left has gone over the edge and the right has moved to the left, neither parties are for the people, they work for corporations and do the bidding of these corporations and/or the highest bidder.

Only when people understand this concept will they realize the government is not here to help, not this government, not your government.

I'm pleased to see that someone else realizes what is happening in politics. We have now got to the stage at which, no matter which party is in power, the man in the street is nothing, he is just a pawn in their crooked game. All they want is his vote!
