The two that contacted me live in California. The one who went from Patrick to Patricia said he was in the military and of course, his picture was of a man in uniform. He has two children, living with him, widowed, 10 years younger than me. You're correct, poor English, lousy spelling in his message to me. I messaged him back months ago and told him he couldn't have my email address and never heard from him again, but I didn't delete his message for some reason, and now he is a she. It doesn't get me down, I think it's rather funny, but I wish there was a way to stop this. I'm sure there are people new to this online dating stuff and might be played for a fool, I hate to see others get hurt!

And from what I have heard, after they are banned, they come back with a new profile. So, I guess it's all the gold members we have to be leery of, lol.

Strange, I replied to you and it didn't show up......weird! I have heard others say that SFF has screwed up, but this is not the case. He was a man, now he's a woman. He told me all about himself, dead wife, 2 kids, etc... The sad thing is that he is, or she is, going to find someone not savvy to online dating and play them for a fool. I really don't like to see people get hurt, and I hate scam artists!

Truth is, it's SFF's fault. They could make sure that the scam artists can't rejoin. They could block their IP number or something like that. The reason they don't is for financial gain. As was pointed out, they ban and earn money from the membership. When the person rejoins, they make money yet again. I have to say I haven't noticed any sex changes but I will pay more attention in the future. Thanks for the post, Rae. Elaine Shuel

Nileyears...I had a strange message from one the other day. So I decided to answer it as it wasn't quite adding up. He wanted to chat with me. So I wrote back and asked him how he proposed to do that. He replied with his telephone number. Underneath his name it said he was from Honolulu, HI. So I decided to check code he used and it was from NY. Maybe he borrowed the telephone or maybe he wasn't even from Honolulu or NY. Anyway I wrote him back and told that no further communication would be coming from me and that it just didn't add up where he was from. I get messages two or three times a week and they are all scammers. I would never try to connect with anyone who is sending messages as you have no clue who they are.

I'm still a Silver member, but that will end in a couple of months and I won't pay for this again.

Once my Silver expires, I will no longer be a paying member. The blogs are the best part of this site, and even though I could look through all these profiles, I don't. What is nice though is that I can send messages to friends. Thanks Pharmacist, I don't believe them either.

Hi Nile: There are so many liars and scammers in the world. How could anyone ever tell if a person is sincere or just another scammer? Even when a man (not from the internet) shows any interest in me, right away I have suspicions that he's either married or some kind of scammer or psychopath. I wonder how anyone feels safe to even go on a date these days?

To give him/now her the benefit of the doubt I think he/now she just had a change. Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

Are you kidding me? This site belongs to Penthouse? Geeeeeeezzzzzzzz!! You can't use cuss words on the blogs, nor can you use certain words in your blog, which cracks me up because for Pete's sake, we aren't virgins here. I'll check out the chat room again, someday, when I have some time. Thanks for stopping by Candleman.
