WHAT DOES YOUR NAME MEAN?

I put this up THREE times over 2 DAYS but it has yet to show up. Here it is again:

The new royal princess has FINALLY been named, Her Royal Highness Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana of Cambridge. Charlotte to honor Prince Charles, Elizabeth for the Queen and Diana for her late grandmother. Now a name is important, as that is what you will be called the rest of your life.

Elaine is a French form of the Greek name Helen, which is a variant of the Ancient Greek name Helene. The meaning of Helene is disputed as it may have been derived from the ancient Greek word meaning "torch" or the Greek word selene meaning "moon."

So, I guess it means I carry a torch.

Do you care about the meaning of your name? Let us know what it means. When you had , did you try to name them something meaningful or did you go by the names you like?

Welcome to my blog, Just4While. That was cute. "One who brings joy" is great. What's better than bringing happiness into someone's life? Michael is a wonderful name. It's always been one of my favorite boy names. Thanks for your comment.
