WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE BEATLES SONG?

After doing the post about Elvis, I thought about The Beatles. Some of their music was about drugs, but I had no idea at the time. My favorite song of theirs was "Hey Jude" but I liked many others. John Lennon wrote "Imagine", and that was definitely one of their best hits.

What's your favorite Beatles song? Did you like them? Who was your favorite Beatle? Personally I haven't enjoyed watching Paul McCartney's recent performances on TV. What about you?

Those are good songs, Pat. I was never the screaming type of fan for anyone. Thanks for your response.

I feel the same, Lyn. After doing the posts on Elvis and The Beatles, I think I much prefer The Beatles. They really had some wonderful songs. Thanks for your comment and I hope you have a great weekend.

I started listening to the Beatles when I was 11 years old, I have all their albums except for one, the Help album. I like a lot of their songs, so it's hard for me to pick a favorite. Right now I'm teaching my granddaughter "I'll Be Back". She plays rhythm and I play the lead. "Things We said Today" is another favorite of mine. I think I have one, or two favorites on each album, please don't make me pick just one.

George Harrison was my favorite!

Oh, and I wasn't one of those crazy girls screaming and acting stupid either! They really ticked me off, I could never hear them singing when they performed live, nothing but screaming!! UGH!!!

Alright, you're excused from picking just one. You're quite the fan, Rae. I have to admit, those titles aren't familiar to me. Thanks for your response.

Sometimes it made me wonder if something was wrong with me. I didn't jump or scream when I saw performers I liked. I just got excited internally. I'm glad I wasn't alone. Thanks Rae.

Thanks for your comment, Lisa. After the answer you and Rae just gave, I think I need to listen to more of their tunes.

There was nothing wrong with you, but those other girls, lol, fainting and acting crazy, now that was way out there! You can find most of the Beatles music on youtube Elaine, but you need the song titles, here are a couple more if you are interested. "You've got to Hide Your Love Away, There's a Place, A Taste of Honey, Norwegian Wood, and I'm Looking Through You" as a starting point. Have fun, even my mother enjoyed listening to the Beatles.

Hi Elaine, I like most of the Beatles songs but I don't have a particular favourite as such. I appreciate their music more today than I did when I was was young. I was more of a Rolling Stones fan back then.

Ringo was my favourite he has a great personality and was a brilliant drummer Glad to see he is still going strong and looking well. Paul has himself ruined with cosmetic surgery imho. It's a bit sad that there are only two of them left

Thanks Rae. It's possible I know some of the songs but not by their titles. I do know "You've got to hide your love away" and "A taste of honey" but not the rest, to my knowledge.
