It is great about the cameras of today, Pat. What I find even better are the video cameras that not only captures the sights, but also our discussing what we're seeing. I made sure when I took the videos that I said exactly where we were and the date. I think a photobook is also wonderful. It was a major pain to do, but it's wonderful to look at the book sometimes and remember all the good times on the trip. Thanks so much for your comment.

Thanks Renee. I'm glad that you've seen these places. I was watching a show about a couple finding a house in Nice, France and I loved seeing some familiar sights from my vacation. Thanks for responding to my post.

Hi Elaine: What beautiful cities. A lot of European cities have houses all the same colour and even the roofs are the same. The top pic looks just like the Flatiron Building in Toronto.

Nice, France is very beautiful, frenchsalsa. Thanks.

I remember enjoying sitting on the bench and just soaking in the scenery of the French RIviera. I didn't want to leave.

Yes, Europe has some beautiful cities. I just looked up the Flatiron Building and you're right, bijou. Thanks for your comment.

Oh I agree, Elaine.... I lived in France for 18 months and then 3 years in Germany (where I was married). Since it was close to the French border, we used to go there often plus visit others spots in Europe whenever we could (vacation time). Yes, the Riviera is something else1

That would be my dream. Living in Europe and going from one great city/country to the next.

Bijou said the same thing. I really need to get downtown more often.

I'm glad you checked out and liked my photos, Rosie. Thanks very much.

Elaine, we returned to Europe for a visit some years later. The changes were somewhat phenomenal! But I enjoyed our stay there tremendously!

Thanks for your enthusiasm, Bill. I appreciate it. I never heard of someone losing pics during a divorce. Can't you borrow them and scan them into the computer or something like that?
