Celebrities in wax

These pictures are from Madame Tussauds in London, England. I assume that it's alright to post these today even though it's not a Monday. If I'm wrong, please let me know. Previous pictures I posted, I didn't notice about Photo Monday, until 2 days ago.

I think you'll be able to figure out which celebrity is which. The last isn't a great picture because it was dark there. I wanted to show the vehicle used for the ride we took. I'll be showing more pictures from the wax museum in a later post (s). I hope you enjoy seeing them!!!

Thanks for clarifying that, Pat. I wasn't aware of Photo Mondays having a theme.

Thanks for enjoying my pictures. It was a wonderful experience. We had a terrific time that we'll never forget. In line with your post today, my sister and I went together and that only added to how special it was. We would have loved our mother to join us but it would have been way too difficult for her.

Hi Elaine: Wow! It must be a strange feeling to see those lifelike wax figures in person. Marilyn Monroe is so beautiful.

Very nice Elaine!! I'm not sure if the second photo is John Wayne, or James Arness and I have no clue who the lady wearing the phone is, other than that, I know who everyone else is.

Thanks Francesca. I have always enjoyed wax museums but this one far surpassed all others I've seen.

Lady GaGa is the lady with the phone and it is John Wayne. I'm glad you enjoyed looking at the pictures, Nileyears.

Thanks Elaine, the nose kind of threw me off on John Wayne, maybe it was the angle of the pic. I would never have guessed Lady Gaga, every time I have seen a pic of her, her face was always distorted/disfigured in some way.

You're welcome, Nileyears. Some of the wax figures don't look as accurate as some of the others. At least not to me.

Great pictures Elaine. Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are everywhere. It didn't surprise me to see them. I am glad you put Marilynn Munroe at the top as that is where she belongs. She will always be a legend and no one can take that away from her. I am becoming a fan of Lady Gaga. After seeing her at the Oscars all I can say that lady has talent coming out of her ying yang.

Thank you so much, Shartaun03. I tried to put pictures that I hoped would interest people. Lady Gaga certainly made quite an impression at the Oscars. It made many people including myself, see her in a new light.

They do updates at the wax museums but they did have a scary area that I tried to avoid. I have pictures of JFK and Sherlock Holmes. They were on display there when I went. Nicole Kidman is the woman in the red dress. Thanks for checking out my pics, Bill

Beautiful pictures! Thank you.

Photo Monday is a section in the blogland to post photos taken by us. The original objective was to learn about the art of photography. The person in charge of the section used to give us a theme and we had to take pictures related to it. For some time the theme is free. I don't know what has happened.

Thanks Glumo, I'm glad you like them. Yes, I just found out what Photo Monday means. I'm happy to hear that I can post my pictures whenever I want to.
