Blast to the Past - or the Future?

Mad scientists hold the world hostage, threatening global climate change. Zombie followers. Chaos.

2017? Nope. 1966. "Our Man Flint" starring James Coburn. As IMDB describes it: "When scientists use eco-terrorism to impose their will on the world".

I'm not sure which one is supposed to be Al Gore, but he's been known to steal ideas from anywhere.

 Funny how some of those old movies did predict the things to come.
