Shark Week - Puh-LEEEEEEZE

I think the annual shark frenzy can be summed up this way: "Sharks are bad, M'kay?"

From pure garbage ("Megalodon") to re-editing of previous shows, I've quit wasting my time. They ARE fascinating. They've been around for a LONG time. I'd like to sink the Asian ships that catch them just to cut their fins off. But Shark Week has become a farce.

Here's a quiz for you sharkfreaks: When at a beach, I am more like to be killed by:

A) A shark attack
A soda machine falling on me

I'm not going to spoil it, but, suffice to say, Coke kills.

Sharks are one reason I don't swim in the ocean, besides a few other things you can't see in the murky waters. I think they are amazing, but won't go out of my way to watch them on a TV screen. From what I understand is that you will hear more about shark attacks off the coast of Australia than here in the US. I used to water ski at some of the lakes near me, but you won't ever see me jump in a lake anymore either, now we have to worry about alligators that people are dumping into our lakes!
