Time Worn Saying

I happened to watch the Senatorial Debate between Joni Earst and Bruce Braley Sunday. When asked how he would reduce the debt and balance the budget, Mr Braley brought out the standard answer. I would look for waste, fraud, and abuse in all government programs. This time worn bull hockey gets trotted out every two years and after the election gets tossed back into the closet until 2 more years have gone by and nothing has been done. In all fairness to Mr Braley, this saying is most certainly bi-partisan..

 Hi Crazy: Politicians will say anything to get elected. I heard on CNN this morning that this new battle against ISIS has already cost the U.S. taxpayers about $900 million so far, and estimates of another $300 million each month it goes on, so any talk about the U.S. national debt right now seems pointless.
