Wonderful Evening???

We started our evening after we both got home from work with a trip to Wally-World. We both had prescriptions to pick up and I needed to pick up an anniversary card for my blushing bride. I got the card and went to pay for it and found that out of 8 express checkout's they only had one in operation and a long line. As I looked around I happened to see one of the regular checkout with no one in line, so quick as bunny I got the card paid for and set off to find the wife. I found her at the pharmacy and she was finishing up. Then off to finish the rest of her shopping. After getting the other items on her list we found another checkout and a checker who appeared not to be having a nice day. In the process of checking us out she rang up the soda and in the process dropped one of the cans, of course it exploded all over the place, now I get to go get another 8 pack. The pop is clear to the back of the store, undaunted I went back to get another 8 pack, I get there and the soda I wanted is clear at the back of the rack, way out of reach. I happened to get lucky and was able to hit the rack and my pop slid far enough that I could reach it. We loaded the stuff into the car and Lynn said she was hungry for KFC, so off to KFC. We parked the car and inside she went to get what we wanted for supper. After a short time, she returned empty handed, I made the remark, "What, are they out of chicken" trying to be a smartazz, She replied " Yep they are out of chicken" What the you gotta kidding, a chicken fast food joint out of chicken. Unbelievable huh. So we just came home and had a hot instead. It sue wasn't the best evening we have ever spent.
