Hi Ann: I've had a few of my replies here deleted for 'profanity' even though I couldn't see anything wrong with what I wrote. I have also had entire blogs deleted and advised they were about a 'banned topic', as if there are entire topics that are too distasteful for us to even discuss here?? Very strange that they don't provide us with a list of taboo words and topics somewhere in the rules.

...and then we also get emails containing descriptive words about what they want to do to us, including email addresses that don't get stopped by the SFF police. I recieved one last week, reported it and noticed just now it is still in my inbox! and then there are several others I never got to read because they were zapped by SFF ...lol...makes no sense to me, and hasn't for the 10 plus years I've been here.

Ah, but-t I think I can understand SFF's point. I mean there are but-ts, bu-t-ts and BB-UU-TT-TT-SS! Maybe they thought you were referencing BB-UU-TT-TT-SS and they don't allow them in the blogs. Anyway two of my favorite nicknames for you based around your but-t. I've very often called you Snugglerump or Sugarbut-t.  Alfie...

Wow! Bizarre. I remember once in another FFI website, a Christian one, where I amended my profile to describe myself as "heterosexual." My profile was immediately banned. I was able to get it straightened out by contacting the admin, and it turned out that word was on a list of those caught by the site's filters. GBU, Gavin GREETINGS EARTHLINGS! I COME IN PEACE! Must be a new thing. I believe I even used the B word in the title of a blog a while back that got Alfie in even more trouble than he gets himself in! Sometimes the words are program into a computer program that looks for such things. I remember when an employer installed this to keep employees off porno sites. all of a succen I could not access one of my regular research sources, the CDC Spiritwoman ^i^

Yes, I agree with MJ... I was in chat one night and saw a particular volatile chatter use the 'F' word typed in full (more than once) and he got away with it ... double standards or someone at HQ not doing their job???
