Basic health insurance is deducted from pay and pensions here. I have always realized how lucky I am to be on this system despite the cost of my supplemental. Nothing is free in this world.

The U.S. government pays out billions (trillions?) every single year in foreign aid to help people all over the globe, which to me is so unfair when so many Americans are struggling financially and have to pay huge medical premiums and co-payments. At least one thing to be grateful for is that under Obamacare the HMOs can't cancel anyone's insurance or deny anyone insurance because they're sick or have exceeded the maximum amount the HMO will pay for that person.

    Quoting  :

They were right to reject it.
It's socialism.

Socialist healthcare only works for veterans and seniors.

Universal heathcare saps the moral fibre of those of working age.

Look at Canada.

Why do you think our productivity is lower than in the US?
Because all that free medical coverage discourages young people from working hard.
