I definitely would. A few years ago I was visiting my mother with my daughter, grand son and boy friend. Sis lives out in the country with lots of big old trees. My BF and I decided to make an old fashioned rope swing for my grandson. Everyone gave it a try, even my mother who was 88 or 89 at the time. She needed help to walk out to it but once she was on the swing she was 5 again! I

I visited sis again last year. Mom has passed, so has my sisters partner, and the BF is long gone - but the swing is still there.

What a great idea to have a swing instead of a bench at a bus stop. You can't think about any problems when you're on a swing.

This is awesome. We need to do that here in the US. Maybe get a bit of exercise while swinging.

I love swings - especially tree swings. I do have a patio swing. I love to lay on it at night and just swing and look at all the beautiful stars. Where I live it's very dark and not a lot of light pollution so the stars are so brilliant.

I think that is an absolutely wonderful idea and I would be the first to take advantage of it.

We have a swing in the backyard and occasionally we will stop by it and swing a few minutes.

Never grow up! You can grow older but don't totally give up your kid inside.
