Great idea Sandy!!

My 'lifeline' is a gal pal in Alberta with whom I communicate every day. She also knows to contact my daughter if she doesn't hear from me or I don't answer the phone within a certain time line.

I know that some apartments for seniors have a little door knob doughnut shaped thing which residents are suppose to put on the outside each evening and take in each morning....for this reason.

I always found it ironic that at a stage on life when we should not live alone so many do. When I do live alone it is in a mother -in-law type arrangement at my house in town (my rv on the second lot). Down the road when I may need assistance it will in the granny addition on my sister's house originally built for my aunt and uncle.

If I didn't have these choices I would do a roommate situation. I know that is difficult for many but I'm an old hippie and still have the commune mindset. Fortunately I am a pretty social person and find it easy to share with others.

Ann and I are among the lucky ones, we both enjoy pretty good health and if one needs assistance the other one is here to tender it. I like watching her back, especially when she wiggles her butt!
