You did better than me. I lost mine a few years ago (I probably did throw it out by mistake) and had to order a replacement. It costs almost much as my "basic" machine did but like mrsjoe I couldn't bring myself to toss out something that sill worked .

And where did you find it?

I do like sewing machine too Sandy. I have a sewing machine in Italy and Don bought one for me here but I am not using!

I think I have to repair some of my dresses...they are tight so I have to enlarge them...

It's always been like that when you search for something you can't find but when you do not need them they are always in front of you!

La vita e cosi, purtroppo!

Ciao amica!

Hi Sandy: I can really relate. Recently a friend came over and we were trying out some of my hair styling products on her hair. We found some styling putty that I use every day and it really worked great on her. The next morning I went to use it and it was gone. I searched high and low all over my apartment, and took every single product out from under my bathroom sink and it was not there. I was cursing my friend for stealing my styling putty but didn't say anything to her. A couple of weeks later I opened the cupboard and it was just sitting there.

I used to make almost all of my girl's clothes. I brought my sewing machine when I moved from Indiana but have only used it a few times. It just doesn't interest me anymore. I

I won't get rid of it in case I want to make or repair something.

One year I made curtains for the bathroom, one pair for winter, one for summer, one for fall, one for spring. It gave me "new" curtains each season.........wonder where they are now...probably in a rag bag, the trash or wherever.......
