 As a White male of privilege, I feel the world owes me a living.
So far it's worked out quite well.

My skin colour and class protect me from police harrassement.
My age means politicians pay heed because they know I vote.

Fortunately for us honest citizens, the victims are usually bad guys known to the shooters, but the innocent to sometimes get caught in the crossfire.
