Sometimes What they need is a song!!

I was remembering a Precious Patient by the name of Jane

Whose family had put her in a Nursing Home and never visited her from that moment on

I had the joy of being her CNA while I was on the floor for the training part of my license

Her hair was matted-- curtains were closed and she looked very sad

I brought flowers into her room-- opened up her blinds -- combed her hair-- massaged her feet with Rose scented lotion

And I sang-- Sonewhere Over The Rainbow to her one day during my lunch break

Over the weekend I came to visit and heard the sad news she had died in the night

I was so pleased she died with dignity -- and feeling loved and accepted

And sung to

Because Everyone needs a song!!
