I feel sorry for Megan, who has to be torn between what she believes and what her dad says and does..... both being in the public light.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

John McCain proved that there are more important things in life than partisan politics.

The intelligent countries figured it out back in the last century ... it's not a good idea to let insurance companies charge whatever the fc they want.

Even Donald Skunk knows that, but it doesn't fit with his agenda. The Skunk's agenda is to stay in power long enough to write himself some big corporate welfare.

Kudos John McCain!

Are we tired of winning yet? Or was that whining?

"Sessions is one of nature's noblemen, to be sure. Sessions didn't intend to, but he put Trump in a box with his recusal. I may disagree when I say that Sessions was under no obligation to recuse himself, and in doing so he threw Trump under the bus, presently driven by Bob Mueller with dozens of Clinton-supporting lawyers on board."

Very well said! Very well said.

Look at all the new McCain fans! funny

Sure Lisz, back to your blog, do you read it before you reply?

It's my statement: "The intelligent countries figured it out back in the last century ... it's not a good idea to let insurance companies charge whatever the fc they want". Earth to Lisz, McCain didn't say this I did. But I do understand your confusion.

And regarding Obamacare/Insurance Companies ... maybe google the words repeal and replace.

"i do hope trump knows this incident is being filed away for use in 2020".. and so the buzzards win (incl JMc)

Once again an innocent is hung to die. Reminds me of another story..

McCain has nothing to lose now, but his honor.... Agree or disagree it doesn't matter McCain will now only do what thinks is right.
There'll be more to come from McClain as no matter what you believe. McCain will expose the farce of it all. He's got nothing to lose.

I'm not a proponent of any healthcare plan. Whether it be Republican or Democrat.

I'd like to think that Congress would try to avoid the swamp of party politics and special interests, when it comes to healthcare.
but that's not the case.. It's all about party politics and special interests

The overwhelming idea to REPEAL Obamacare, is at the core of all this.

Like I said, I'm not a proponent of any plan. Repealing Obamacare doesn't bother me. I never liked it in the first place. Obamacare was always a cooperative plan to be able to work, The people, the government and the healthcare industry needed to work together for it have any chance, that was not going to happen. Typical Liberal view where the idea may be all well and good but the application sucked.

It's all backwards. A new plan should result in the repeal of obamacare, not the repeal of obamacare resulting in a new plan.

McCain has gone through a life changing event. Although his mind may have become more muddled, he probably sees more clearly now.

Trump's single biggest lie was that he going to "drain the swamp". From the standpoint of "party politics", he may be right, but he's doing it the wrong way. It will happen in spite of him.

to me , the "swamp" is not about politics. It's about things that aren't about politics.
In that regard... Trump is the swamp.

The basis in which our country operated, not perfectly mind you, but it operated. Was within the bounds of politics, fair play, respect and THE CONSTITUTION. In some cases these bounds, created issues of NOT being able to do what we want, NOT being able to get what we want. Trump is trying to remove those bounds, to be able to do what he wants and get what he want. He's trying to open the door for him, but he has no idea of what he is letting in. He's trying to open Pandora's box.

West Virginia GOP Senator Shelley Moore Capito publically stated that she was not going to support the bill because repeal without a replacement would hurt West Virginians. She voted for it anyway. I suspect that she was pressured by Trump or the GOP colleagues. McCain doesn't give a FiretrUCK what Trump or the GOP's think. He is like our Democrat Senator, Joe Manchin. Neither of them operate among party lines. I don't care if Obamacare gets dropped but give us a clue about what it is being replaced with.

Abracadabra

Most of the things we do are about what's happened today and how it effects what's going happen tomorrow

You don't need to agree or disagree with McCain.

We talk, here of compassion and a lack of compassion.

Your lack of compassion is beyond belief.

The man just got a death sentence and you're going to question his motives?
He's not dealing with tomorrow anymore. Just today, and today... what we know is that YOU have no compassion.. YOU have no empathy. You don't know what bravery is, and what integrity is. You don't know the difference between being ridicule by by your enemies and then being ridiculed by your "friends". You think McCain's got a "plan"... He's got no plan.

Now , you're going to kick him..because he doesn't do what you want?
You are a toad!
