The alliteration has merit.......the Kaepernick Kerfluffle.......I have no opinion on the pros and cons of a few inches more or less of hair......I can't even decide if I should get a haircut.

Ironically, Michael Vicks committed a far more serious offense than Colin Kaepernick but was able to return to football. I have seen football player with long hair hanging out of their helmets. It looks silly and could be a potential safety hazard. What if they get tackled on that hair. Abracadabra

I don't really think it is his hair that is keeping him from landing a job, although appearances are important when job seeking. His "crime" was against those very fans who pay his wages, and will not be easily forgiven or forgotten. As for his "fro".... it doesn't quite look right..... too soft or something..... maybe because he is half white? Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Not paying a lot of attention to his appearance before, I just always assumed he was black and that is with whom he seemed to identify..... but looking at this picture, my thoughts were that he could easily be mistaken for one of those radical terrorists...... I just didn't say it. As for Vick giving his opinion, I was sorry to see he retracted his statements..... it is his right to say what he thinks and from one sport's figure to another, the advice sounded reasonable. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

That's what happens when you're Black and you don't put chemicals and have special procedures done constantly........It's just allowing your body to do it's natural thing......It wasn't any different than a White person not cutting their hair or beard......It's part of a philosophy of life, it's wanting to experience your own body rather than conforming to White expectations, to have pride in who you are.......Why would you think that the opinions of a few people in Africa is important to a Western hair-style?..... How about we have a discussion about the pros and cons of all the different hair-styles and colours you have sported over the years.......debate the political historical styles of beards and moustaches .......You can give us yet another Wikipedia lesson on the history of ..........You remind me of Trump's constant repetition of the phrase "not very many people know this, but" and proceeds with some inane, redundant,simplistic info that everyone that hasn't spent their life in a cave already knows.

I don't care about your hair, but it seems more relevant than having an opinion on the hairstyle of someone just because they're a celebrity.......LOL...
