Well, we are a kinder, gentler people, after all.

We generally keep our noses out of other nations' business so we don't really need
a warrior king at the helm.

We like out leaders to provide peace, order and good government rather than invading small nations that offend our sense of entitlement.

We don't like to say too much and p*ss off the terrorists. How disgusting to blow up a bunch of young people. I think Trump is right, they are losers.

There's a time to grieve .... and then to get even.

Just because Prime Minister Trudeau's initial statement was not like President Trump's does not mean that he and all Canadians are not in agreement and working toward getting rid of terrorists.

While the comparison may not be the best, reading your blog and the comments made me think of the Pearl Harbor attack. Families wrung their hands and mourned, as did the whole country,................ but then there was a MASS march to arms and action.
Another time, another era, another mind set............ are we now such milktoasts that we stand and wring our hands and wait for the next onslaught? Or do we unite and wipe these animals off the face of the earth?

Another thought crossed my mind. Perhaps our president's point of view is because we have had attacks like that.......... has Canada ever experienced the horror of that? I hope they never do.
On another view, THIS president's comments are definitely not what our previous one would have said. He would have sounded more like the Canadian PM.

Not sure why Manchester was brought into this, don't think it's in Canada.

You are quite correct, despite having invaded Canada three times, we are grateful to the US of A for saving us from the Krauts, twice, and the Roosians.

And we are frightfully sorry for backing the Confederacy during your late unpleasantness.

I declare you to be a playground bully because of the constant sophomoric sniping at others.

That's not to say that the others don't deserve it.

But your behaviour certainly does you no credit.
