What a mess your country seems to be in right now!

I sincerely wish you, and all my American friends all the best.

The Liberal Left did not get Bill O'Reilly's fired. Bill O'Reilly got Bill O'Reilly fired. He won't be going to jail because his accusers got a generous settlement. He won't be out in the snow selling matches because his employer gave him a year's severance pay. That is better than what most folks who uses Unemployment Insurance get. He has time to plan his next career move> Someone will hire him or he can build his own station. Perhaps, he can retire and move someplace where he can legally grab p*ssies. Maybe Trump will let him to move to Largo Mars, build a "uge" wall around it and the Liberals will pay for it.

Personally, I never found Bill O'Reilly or Fox News interesting enough to listen to. I would rather listen to the Met Opera.

My God, how does matter if he's Conservative or Liberal? He's a privileged male.

Bill Clinton, Bill O'reily and a Billy Goat all chase the "tail" between their legs

That's not even to mention, the Donald Duck in the Whitehouse, who wants us to think he's a swan! He's a quack, then he calls it a Trump...and you all flock to him.
Well.......i say you folks need to get the flock out of there! and "shut the front door" to keep that quack inside. 2 funny?

Republican snowflakes.....wah wah, our hero is a victim of the big bad "organized Left"......Put your big boy panties on Liszt and admit that O'Connor is responsible for his own downfall......He had a long career......he outgrew his usefulness, he refused to change with the times........well past his sell-by date.......

You know, I've just decided that I am not going to get into any lengthy discussions about this situation. It is Bill's business, he is a RICH, RICH man, he is an arrogant man, and he knows right from wrong and that the limits of sexual harrassment have changed drastically over the years. He has myriads of lawyers to counsel him, and his personal life and problems do not really affect my life at all. I wish him well, but don't think I will miss his show all that much.”
Between you and me.......... I may not agree with how Fox handled it, but I stopped liking his show quite awhile ago........ the Watters World was silly, and the Gutfield and McGurk segment and Dennis Miller segment were stupid................ IMO. LOL.
Perhaps the Murdocks felt the evening lineup was getting WAY OUT right? Personally, I like the daytime shows better.
What amazes me is the left's definition of sexual predators ....... some of us have lived through situations of REAL sexual predators...... and I for one am appalled at the trivial things these people seem to be saying are as important as childhood abuse........... AND these people stand up for cultures that really do abuse women!
BTW, this was denied the first time because I used the "r" word instead of abuse!

"Bit I am uncomfortable when an issue of a social nature (not criminal) is used to advance a political agenda." I agree! And of course those millions of dollars doesn't hurt, does it?

Well, I wish I could believe you.

His public role, you are using to defend him
His public role opponents you are using to say he's being unfairly judged.

He public role in regards to this matter, has nothing to do with it.
Yet there's a boogeyman out there, trying to "get him"

Why would i expect anything different..You do the same thing with Trump.

You don't like Trump as person....either. Yet you defend him with politics.

There's a boogeyman out to get him too.

The whole idea of this, politicizing is silly on both sides.

for me it's like a meal walking into a lion's den, wanting to pet the lion, but instead gets eaten.

Men are strange beast, and although I am not privileged enough to understand the privileged mind. I do see the environment they work in.

So as women believe the caging of the common man, allows them access. who's wrong, when they come across, a wild one, a privileged one, that turns the tables. Believing him to be just another common man.

Women equality is a bunch of bunk.....They are already more equal.
If women want to become men, they don't gain equality but lose the power over men, at least as far as the common man goes.
Women can control most of the beasts, most of time but not all the beasts, all the time. When women decide they need to control all the beast all the time, the irony becomes...... they all get eaten.
It goes with the territorial aspect.

If you can't believe that, at least believe this..... all men are mother's sons.
Father may give genetic propensities, but Mothers control the entire environment.

the way women operate with men, is an amazing study in control.

control that is only in perception.

Men need to have the perception of control, the perception of their territory.
women are different, perception doesn't matter. Let the SOB think he's in control.
Knowing you have you control is different than perceiving you have control.

Well, women in the name of equality, now want the perception of control too.

The stupidity of that astounds me. taking away a man's perception of control, only makes him more territorial, and want the control, a control he never really had in the first place..

The lion Kingdom and the Kingdom of man....

the parallels are an amazing metaphor.

The Lion rules his kingdom. Sit's under a tree, licks his paws, and peruses his kingdom. Only to get up off the sofa, when needed.
The lioness, does it all.
But the lioness understands, his kingdom is only in his perception, the idea that she is really the queen, doesn't matter to her. Let him have his perception.
Taking him off his throne... means what to her? She will have do it all anyway.
She has the control, he has the perception of control.
It works for lions, and it use to work for man. Until women decided they were getting doubly screwed. And want to know why they can't sit under the tree, lick their paws, and let someone else do it all for them.

"The Left could well heed that what they do to others , can be turned on them in a instant" maisie

Now that's a true statement. but I find it has one flaw.........
That is.... you leave out the truth
You make the truth, political, so it doesn't matter what the truth is, only what the political truth is.

I would hope people know what the real truth is, no matter what the political truth is.

As I understand your political truth, you refuse to accept my truth.......
My view of Trump has virtually nothing to do with his politics. In fact I don't even know what his politics are to dislike him for it.

I know it's hard to avoid politics when talking about a President. I try.

I dont' care....
If we build a wall.
deport illegals
ban muslims
bomb Syria
bluff North Korea
deregulate
Repeal Obamacare
lower taxes..........

All i care about is the manner and lies, told about the reasons we should do it.
that reflects on the man, not the politics.

there is failure to see, that we have always, always had a self correcting government.

It didn't matter what we did, we always try to correct it, if it was a mistake we tried to changed it. or tried to better it if it wasn't good enough.

what is happening is that the correctness is in the doing, not the correcting.

Yeah, the O'Connor thing was a Freudian slip of the finger......another loud,
self-righteous, Irishman......

O'Reilly is outlived his usefulness to the network.......It wasn't my determination,
it was the network's......There has been a social change......the dynamics in a work environment have changed......enough so that women have a bit more power.....and have the courage to speak up finally with some belief that they will have some backup. Fox had obviously been running like a Mad Men scenario from the 50s and 60's......and in many respects they still are.

Speaking of compassion, I see that you only have compassion for the men ....Your interpretation of my comment only exposes your own prejudices.

Don't believe me ask them. I don't see any of them jumping on my bandwagon. that's because I offended them too. I told them how stupid they were, wanting to become men..... I think that pretty much covers everybody

First let me thank you, for comment, I imagine that was hard for you.

I agree with your interpretation. except number five.
"However on certain subjects your version of truth hardens into the only truth and overrides my truth. You alone get to decide when this situation obtains.'

Again that is a biased interpretation. when I "call you out" on a certain subject, you take it the wrong way, Your immediate reaction is to think, I'm am saying you're wrong and I'm right.
well, that's your interpretation.
I challenge your narrow view of what's right, that's what I do. To do so, I have give an alternative. My alternative, need not be right or wrong, It just need to present a different point of view, one that's not so narrow.
I don't disagree with your part truth, I just disagree, because it's not the whole truth. What is the whole truth?, I don't profess to know, but what I do know, is your truth is just a part of it. It's the difference between someone who has focused knowledge, and someone who chooses to expand knowledge.

I watched Obama's first public meeting.

he really didn't talk politics, and that alone makes him special.
His discussion was about communication, and bringing out young people to be people of service.
He talked about how we communicate, the internet and the ability to choose news media that conform to ones own ideas.
He saw the problems of not having a base truth, as a point of reference to discuss politics and problems.

You see, for me, when Obama doesn't talk politics and sometimes even when does. He comes across right. He comes across as a good man.
He's the polar opposite of Trump

Now the ideas brought out, were about truth and lies and ability to put them on the internet, and what could be done about it?

I wish I could have spoke my piece...

People have every right to speak their piece over the internet. I find it, to be more informative, than biased.

Anyway, we have come to the crossroads of everything is either becoming the truth or a lie.
I don't buy it......
People want to choose between what is the truth and what is the lie. it's a choice they shouldn't make.

For in the truth, there is a lie, and in the lie, there is a truth. What we always hear is both a truth and a lie. An individual has the right to sort that out. No one has the right to make that choice for them.

I find the internet to be informative, for the same reason others said it was negative. It's negative because people get to hide behind it. But then again, I say, it allows them to bring out the recesses of their truthful sole. If find that to more informative than negative.

you are so biased in your interpretation it's amazing.
Obama did not speak of a liberal agenda and he did not speak against a conservative agenda. You're not only blind but can't hear.
I will tell you, if he supported a liberal agenda, in his first public speaking.
He did not.
what your heard him say is so typical of your bias. And so typical to distort the truth.

Now we had this discussion about how am i to fight your bias. I don't know how.
So go ahead and believe a thrill ran up my leg.. It didn't happen.
Although i do believe the Democrats could learn a thing or two from Obama.. I don't even recall Trump's name being mentioned. But democrats don't listen either.
