How does increasing military spending to counter non-existent threats get you out of debt?

How does spending billions building an ineffective wall get you out of debt?
Especially when a lot of that money will go to a Mexican cement company, Cemex.

I guess it does create jobs, though.

It's kind of amazing to look at when Trump tweets his most outrageous stuff. He's not being unfiltered.. he's filtering

What he Tweets gets all the news.... why he tweets is rarely spoken of.

He tweets to create a news story. He tweets to misdirect from the current News story. He tweets when he sees himself in trouble.
It works all the time.....The more outrageous the tweet.... the better it works.

It's ironic that person who calls the news media fakes. Is the one that gives them Fake News.

"Some of My Lies Are True (Sooner or Later)" ..... Huey Lewis and the News

Is it possible that truth can beat propaganda?

Is this the kind tactic you would like to see a President use?

I don't disagree with what you say. but propaganda for the most is conclusion from the truth, that are wrong and biased. But still some truth has to remain. People who accept the wrong and biased conclusions are being propagandized. People who don't accept the base truth...What are they called?

Ideologues? or idiots?.. take your pick

Media war?

I just don't understand that...

What I understand about is that it's a catchall to dispose of the truth.
What I understand about is that it is a Trump Creation.
What I understand about it..is that your admonition of a liberal media, has not changed, and the so called Liberal media hasn't changed. but now because of Trump it's become media war.
What I understand about it, it that the word war, connotes opposing side, and a need to win. It is tantamount in this case to making it a necessity of a controlled media...I don't think Russia is having a media war!

I gather you don't believe FOX NEWS is part of this Media War. Well I listen to Fox News and CNN to get differing points of view. If Fox News was the last man standing in this Media War, there would be no America.

I found Hannity and his interview with Ted Koppel very interesting. My suspicions of many Conservative personalities was realized. They understand, that are just as much in the entertainment business as they are news business. My other suspicion that has not been realize YET.. Is that the CNN personalities, don't believe that.

This may be hard for you to understand, because of your ideology and it's agreement with Fox News. But I see a difference in the way Fox News says something than the in the way CNN says something.. It doesn't matter to me what they are saying. The way they say it matters. I do the same thing here.

Most of the time, what conservatives, say here, I don't disagree with with. I disagree with the WAY they say it. Just like your use of the term Media War. I fully understand it's a conflict ( It's suppose to be ), but somehow the idea it's a war, changes that.

n the Hannity interview with Ted Koppel. the idea I am expressing,, here were sort of brought up. The same kind of response you would give about my ideas. Hannity would say the use of the term Media War, is just a term. It's meaning to be construed by the listener. Ted Koppels response would be...., It is the responsibility of a journalist, to not allow the meaning of what he says to be used by his listener for a non intended purpose, if it promotes an unintended activity. if one of Hannity listeners went and bombed the CNN building, Hannity, would, of course say that was wrong, and unintended. But his reporting would have laid that foundation. He would, to some extent be responsible.
Hannity would believed, he would not be responsible because that's not his job.. Use of such terms, as Media war, is more understandable to his audience. As long as his base point is the truth, elaboration, or embellishment, shouldn't matter, that the way he sees his job.

I am paraphrasing the interview to my particular point. it's the gist of what i got out of the interview.

There is no threat to US national security that requires the size of military forces currently in existence.

A large part of the border problem is easily solvable.
Start jailing the people who hire illegals, starting with the 1%.
But then you would have to live with the consequences.

I certainly don't want to eliminate Canada's border with the US.
We have quite enough illegal guns here as it is.
