 Liszt, a good blog..... BUT, those to whom it applies won't recognize, or acknowledge it's application, so in a sense it is worthless. Ok, I know we must not give up, if even one sees the light, it is worth the time, but sometimes, I just get so tired..... emotionally and physically.
Can I run away?

 As I look at those pictures, I wonder just who do they think is going to pay for letting everybody into the country? Do they think money grows on trees or the government has an unlimited supply? Do they not realize that most of what the government has, it takes from the people in the form of taxes or it BORROWS it? Borrowed money has to be repaid, WITH INTEREST.
And jobs? When so many of our citizens are in need of good jobs, where do they think all those people are going to find good jobs?
I guess I just cannot understand their mentality............... and I seriously doubt if these are really the poor and underprivileged people of our society. They seem to be affluent, educated dummies, irresponsible, and obviously dependent upon someone else.
Do they honestly believe that bringing down everybody to one level is going to benefit everybody?
Ok..... off my soapbox.

 As Maisie and enjoy our coffee..... NOT STARBUCKS!....... I also wonder if those who send their kids to the good schools are against the vouchers system because they don't want the poorer kids mingling with theirs? Maybe it isn't so much about teachers' unions, etc..... as it is about snobbery, condensation, and GASP, bigotry!

The internment of Japanese in Canada is kinda interesting.
It was done at the behest of British Columbia politicians and businessmen who wanted to eliminate Japanese competition and to seize their assets.

The government in Ottawa didn't really want to do it.
Neither the RCMP nor the Canadian army thought they posed any threat since the few who were deemed dodgy were rounded up quickly after Pearl Harbor.

The driving factor was White British Columbia greed.
