Hi Liszt: I thought Prince was an amazing performer, musician, songwriter, dancer etc. and I feel so sad that he's gone. I've never seen any performer put so much energy into a performance or play so many different instruments. Like Prince, I also live with chronic pain and I take the exact same prescription painkillers that he likely overdosed on, so his death really hit me. The fact that a rich celebrity like Prince died all alone and didn't have a will is so sad too. Now anyone he was remotely related to will be fighting over his estate. You can take a virtual tour of Prince's beautiful home in Toronto. His relatives put it for sale before they even cremated his body. How sad.

Favorite Prince Moment: the silence of the announcers when he simulated intercourse (using his guitar) at his Superbowl Halftime show..... The rest of the time, he was a Pop Legend.....an oxymoron if ever there was.

Never was a fan. His hay day was at a point my life when I was way too preoccupied with other things. Spiritwoman ^i^

Jussi Bjeurling's death affected me more, and I was only 12 or 13 at the time.

Maybe they called him a musical genius because he played 27 instruments. I wasn't a big fan of his, but I did like a few of his songs. I personally was a Beatles fan, when Led Zeppelin came out, I listened to them. The Doors were great, loved Hendrix, Cream, and Heart to name a few, but Prince's music wasn't the kind of music I'd want to listen to everyday.
