Like most grubers, Mitee has no shame, no conscience, no honor and no bravery. They don't care that throwing sewage means they get splattered, as long as they can annoy others.

Pathetic, really.

Just an observation, but if a person posts a blog and has any hope of the replies not deteriorating into just a bunch of insults from the usual people, then their only option is to block certain people. I don't think blocking has anything to do with being courageous or not.

Why can't everyone just state their opinion to a blog and stop insulting other people for their opinions??

I believe that Roe v Wade gave pregnant women, and not the man who provided the sperm, the 'choice' in deciding what she will do with her own body. So the woman could choose to carry the fetus or not, it's up to her, but just because a woman can by law make the decision on her own, it doesn't mean she will get an abortion. To me that's where Planned Parenthood provides such a valuable service through their counselling, because sometimes pregnancies happen by accident, through r*pe or , etc etc., and many women just simply don't know what to do and have no-one to help them decide.

Roe v Wade is nothing more than a court decision. It is by a frightened Congress that it was accepted as law. It is not the law of the land.
Crazy, do you mean that in parts of the U.S. a man can have a say in whether his pregnant lover decides to carry a fetus to full term?

Many of the comments have strayed far afield from the what the blogger wrote, so I'll jump in too.....LOLOL.

With all the 'pro' this and 'pro' that, I would like to toss in another one.....

Pro-birth..... It seems to me that there are quite a number of folks who are concerned with the fetus from conception to birth, but are strongly unwilling to open their wallets [taxes] to properly support the resulting child. Lip service to caring will not feed or clothe kids.

I love the way you glibly toss out accusations at the non-conservatives while never admitting similar transgressions by your own mob.

How about selling guns to Iran in secret?

Remember that one?

Maisie, I don't know if we have a Planned Parenthood in Canada or not, and don't know exactly what they do there. Do women in the U.S. have to go there for an abortion or can they go to a hospital? I would think that Planned Parenthood did more than just abortions. Don't they counsel people regarding birth control, or talk to pregnant women to help them make a decision whether they should keep their baby or have an abortion?

To answer your question, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled in Roe v Wade that the prospective father doesn't get to have a say in whether the prospective mother will give birth or have an abortion. It would not be possible for the government or a court or the police to force any woman to carry a fetus in her body if she doesn't want to, so the decision is up to her.
