I heard that Mia Farrow gave out the dentist's home address on twit-tur I can't see why everyone is so much more upset about this one particular lion than with all the other torturing and murdering of wild animals that goes on. Hunting any animal is disgusting and barbaric. I can't even imagine what goes on in a person's mind that would make them want to kill an animal.

Interesting that you think "big game hunting with a crossbow is a bit more dangerous than playing golf or going fishing"? Really? That's laughable. The dentist fires off a crossbow while everyone else in his little rat pack is well armed. Also you say "it is entirely plausible that he believed the professional hunter he had engaged in his $58,000 junket knew the rules of the game". I'm going to suggest to you that the professional hunter he had engaged in his $58,000 junket did know the rules of the game and also guaranteed results. Guaranteed results meaning the dentist knows exactly what he is paying for ... he's paying for big game to be 'presented' for him to shoot at. That's how they operate. That's how they keep getting paid. A pathetic sport in my opinion. And by the way the dentist is a repeat offender.

Listomania, I haven't "joined" anything. I get the news and I read your blog. Why post a controversial blog if you don't appreciate replies from your readers? "Tell it to his mama", good one. I wouldn't give the good doctor too much credit for putting himself in danger by hunting with arrows. He was guided, and I imagine the guides had enough firepower to stop an elephant.
