 Do we really expect anything different from a politician? Most politicians? Of course he said whatever would get him elected and his predominately less affluent black base wanted to hear him say. Don't most of them do that?
Now that he doesn't have to worry about that..... he will follow the money!

 Here's hoping Obama will make it a one-off engagement and the $400K speaking fee donated to charity/cause of choice by recognising personal integrity/moral leadership essential to productive outcomes - the concept of people working together for the greater good then becomes more attainable as it has a solid platform from which to start.

I'm afraid you try to give him attributes which he doesn't have. I believe he will 'follow the money' just as most other politicians do.
It still amazes me how anybody is worth a speaking fee of hundreds of thousands of dollars for an hour or so speech. I guess, if you got it, flaunt it and if you make it, take it.
