Sorry to hear the news about your son. He certainly has had more than his share of challenges.

We think of you often, and enjoy recalling the good times we've shared at the bashes. You and your son are in our thoughts and prayers.

Nancy, we've known each other for a few years now and I have great admiration for you as a person, a caregiver and a mom... Bless you and Rick!

The good old days of SFF are long past. I have been on this site for a long time. A lot of people have come and gone. As Earthy puts it when you lose a sibling life gets real. A lot of us are in the age group where you count each day as a blessing. I tend to bypass the blogs that create havoc as I don't need that in my life. I wish you and your son all the best. It isn't an easy thing to cope with a son who has DS. I give you big kudos for taking that responsibility upon yourself.
