 I'm not sure why you directed this blog just to 'liberals/progressives/democrats' since many businesses/corporations also have no difficulty accepting gov't handouts in the form of subsidies and favourable tax laws.

Both groups benefit from what we all pay in taxes.

We who pay the taxes, no matter what political stripe, are more like Mr. Thorpe. We get up every day no matter what, get going, and get our jobs done.
