As far as the Constitution goes, the words "created equal," refer to the rest of the sentence which outlines "inaliable rights". The Founding Fathers weren't stupid enough to mean we are all born equal, or that we all would become equal. Each person is born into a different life situation, with different skills and aptitudes and as they grow they are exposed to and shaped by different experiences.

The Founding Fathers meant we had God-given equal RIGHTS to pursue life, liberty, and happiness.

But that's ALL they meant was "equal."

There's no guarantee that everyone will have equal outcomes.

GBU all,

Gavin
