By the way, since it is now 2017 shouldn't it be called Happy Transgender/Woman's day?

Bet it was awful quiet and peaceful around the work place today.

"Women around the world are marking International Women's Day on Wednesday, with some wearing red to work and others taking the day off to go on strike or join rallies calling for equal rights.

Let me point out the keywords for you, "international" and "equal rights". Notice they do mention wearing red to work? You appear to be hostile when it comes to women, what's up with that?

Now why are you so hostile towards women?

Very true, Maisie.

Stop telling the truth like that. You are upsetting those in fantasy land.

Excellent blog, Maisie! But BTW today I read in a political blog online that according to a certain published article (which I checked out), in Canada, the average woman (those are not CEO's etc) earn 87 cents for every male dollar! That's something many women are hoping to see improved in the near future. Oh and I didn't march today, too busy doing paperwork!!

I've seen a few clips on men opting out of the stress of high paid jobs, taking easier ones and staying single as divorce is over 50%. They nearly always loose house and kids in the courts. So why bother starting a family with such a high risk? Could that be be a factor? Most guys can live comfortably on a smaller wage. It's not that women are actually smarter. Nowadays they are getting smart, but in an entitled way. No real man likes the smowflake feminist thing, only the weak suck up types that have been to uni and do Social Justice courses to have their brain destroyed. Millennials are seeing it for what it is.

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

"None of you is as indispensable as you think you are. "
They would do well to think of an old illustration I read about when you begin to think yourself more important than you are. Put you hand in a bucket of water, and look at the hole you leave when you remove your hand.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Sorry, Maisie, but I should have pointed out that those were 'Canadian' stats, plus I should have expounded a little. I can speak from personal experience. During y time (after childbirth... back in the day when we didn't get more than 3-6 weeks off), I worked in middle management, running my own department for large companies. I didn't take golf days etc akin to most of the men in the company, nor did I meet them for drinks at lunch (many returning in somewhat dissaray! There were other women much like myself... so yes, we worked for our money and got paid less. However, in my personal case I went after more because I possessed a certain commodity that (following much discussion with our company President), I was worth more! Nowadays women are in much higher positions: ie CEO, Vice-Presidents, Presidents, etc. Therefore the stats have definitely changed to reflect my original statements.

Maisie, I meant to add that my position (at the time during those years) were for the same hours, equal (plus) education etc.
