I agree with the points in your blog.
I have been doing something a little different this convention, I have been watching a lot of it on CNN. I couldn't help but notice, because it was so blatant, the criticism of all the speakers, and I wondered if they will also be that way at the DNC. I have my doubts.
Concerning Cruz, I will say that I have always had a bad feeling in my gut about him, which is surprising to me because I am a conservative Christian and that is what he professed to be. Last night was no different. When he came out, to a cheering, applauding crowd, my gut reacted negatively. There was something about his smile, which I felt was more of a smirk. It was like I could sense he was thinking, "This should be MY convention!" His words might have said the right things, but his expressions and delivery seemed to be more about looking to the future and HIMSELF.
All the candidates signed a pledge to support the eventual nominee..... to my knowledge, four of them have gone back on their word. I don't think ANY of them should have a future with the Republican party, and I feel that Cruz just sealed his fate and not the way he had hoped. Trump read his speech a couple hours before he gave it, and still allowed him to do it......... I think that shows Trump to be the bigger man in the situation, and I'm sure that will also give him "points" with people.
I have also noticed that many commentators talked about how boring and scripted conventions have always been. These same people are complaining about the unusual convention this week. Come on guys, you can't have it both ways!

Most of this is just hype. What matters is how the undecided see 'us' and more important, hopefully some hiLIARy support changes sides. whether all this makes us feel good is irrelevant. Trump elected is going to be a bitter battle which won't end if he is

Need a laugh? After Cruz left the RNC stage amid boisterous boos, he headed to Sheldon Adelson's suite and was denied admittance! Apparently, Adelson and his wife are furious with Cruz and his obnoxious refusal to endorse Trump.

My God...you can think for yourself.
I always knew it, that's why no matter what you think, I will not dislike you.
It's the reason I pay attention to you, as opposed to some others here.

Believe it or not, and opposed to the common opinion. When go to vote you have to vote FOR somebody.

THERE ARE NO CANDIDATE NAY VOTES IN THE VOTING BOOTH.

If they write in Cruz or stay at home on principle they are contributing to the defeat of the Republican candidate. You are effectively, cancelling out one vote which might have helped put Hillary down for the count. Or is that what you want, Jiminy? Are you a Clinton fan? It is hard to tell when you take both sides of the issues.

To be truthful...I don't care who wins.
I'm not going to vote. I can't vote for someone I'm not for.

So I have no choice in this election, I get to sit back and laugh at you other folks no matter how it turns out.

Now, you may think that's un-American.

But the fact is...What's Un-American, has already happen with this election.

Let me put it this way. If this election was Bernie Sander and Rand Paul. I'd have a decision. I would take responsibility to research, and come up with a vote, I would think would best for the country. There simply is no best with this election, it's all bad, it's all fake.

I talk about mindsets....your comment has a specific mindset that makes no sense.

I don't think that way... but if I did......I'd say just the opposite.

My non-voting for Hillary is a vote for Trump, but you see I don't care if Trump win or not.
But I tell you this, he wins, when Democrats don't vote.

The only message I heard was 'Be afraid'.
