It's true Maisie, they are hurting those that need it the most, but then, I look at what a once upon a time employer tried to do to me years ago before things got so bad in today's economy.

I worked for a small company, only 5 were employed there and two of them were the bosses/owners, so that was actually 3 of us who did the work. My job, the whole electronics department. Purchase, prototypes, troubleshoot, repair, test, design, build, I think you get the picture. Most of the time my bosses wanted me to have a prototype by Monday and I was always told this on a Friday, so I pretty much did this every weekend. It cost them $20.00 an hour on my days off. I was offered a salary, a nice sum of money, but when I did the figuring, I would have been short changed by about $5000.00 a year and they would have worked me to death, which they already were doing.

With what's going on in our world today, some, not all, employers are looking at making a huge profit, which I don't blame them, but the little guy is always the one left out, especially if they are lacking in experience. Take Papa John's Pizza for an example, John Schnatter, he cut employees hours, raised the price of the pizza because of obamacare, yet lives in a mansion in Kentucky, or should I say castle? More power to the man, but a good example of how workers are regarded these days.

Sorry, didn't mean to write a book.

    Quoting  :

I get it Maisie, the same thing happens to my daughter. Sometimes she can't make ends meet because her hours get cut, that's when I pitch in, but I can't do it forever, and I don't want her family moving back in with me, her two boys cost a small fortune to feed. Been there, done that a couple of times!

She wants me to start hauling horses again and make it a family business so she can quit her job and work for me, but I don't need, nor do I want to work that hard again. She also doesn't realize all horses are not as well trained as ours, and some are out right dangerous!
