I guess if one thinks of life as a debate...Then Massie's got all her prompt card together. I think life isn't a debate, and winning or losing is just spittin in the wind. I never really wanted to tell people what to think, and yet I can stop myself when trying to change how people think. It really shouldn't matter to me.....and in that respect can comprehend that some people can't stop themselves because they don't know the difference. I've been around here awhile and no matter how hard I try to talk about about how you think... it always comes back to what you think.

Maybe We The People are too dumb to understand....or maybe the politicians are too smart for their and our own good.....Either way, things gotta change. There are segments of each party that are blinded by the ideology. Their ideology becomes personal making them include and exclude others. That way of thinking is wrong, no matter which side your on. The political ideas of how one can get the power and what one does with power may seems to be mandated by the vote, but let me assure you the candidates when weighing their constituency with their own conscious will abandon those they used innuendo to promise the moon. A promise they have no intent on delivering. When confronted with a diverse, but personally strong constituency, as is the current conservative party, the end result is always a seen failure by many of those who would be supporters. Obama has been confronted by this. His supporters saw a change that was not to be. His opponents seized the opportunity. This is now our political climate. Conservative cannot deliver on their promise to ALL their constituency. I suspect only a few of them, in a back room somewhere, know exactly what they can and can't do. My biggest hope is that conservative do not win. Not because of what they'd do, but because it sends a message that it shouldn't be that way. If the conservatives win, I see this politically continuing by both parties, where hate and disappointment become the only criteria for change and doing what's right is left up to left overs.

Lulu, They cannot see your intent through their own narrow-mindedness. trying to show them the light is like trying to light a match in a windy room. They do what they accuse others of doing. Whether or not other do it become immaterial, from their perspective it doesn't matter. The nature of what I'm trying to say is that in the same sentence. mitee, leafy, Maggie, panther and yourself were lumped together as typical liberals. I can't believe they can't see the difference. They choose not to...that doesn't serve their purpose. leafy and Massie think so much alike it's frightening. Different strokes serving the same purpose. To both it doesn't matter what the other side thinks. They both label and both don't care what's in the can. Panther is a whole different animal. mittee is liberal, supports leafy because he does know any better. Maggie I not sure about. and yourself, who is far more responsive than dictatorial. Couldn't be much different a group, yet, your dropped, like one lump of sugar into a conservative cup of tea.

massie, Telling your truth is hateful......It's not my truth, and your saying it doesn't make it my truth. There was a time in this country that being liberal or conservative both served the purpose of doing what's best for this country. There was value to each sides ideas. We the people choose that which we believed to hold the most value. Today, forget it. neither side to other matters, neither side to other holds value. And we the people choose only on the basis of which is going to hurt us the least, and help us as an individual the most. It's now a fight you can't win. You can try to make it more a moral issue than a political one, but only the Christian moral right is listening. The people of this country trust the current liberal government more than they will ever trust billionaires and corporations to not do them wrong or do them in.

liszt, I don't have a side...... I do not support leafy and I do not support Massie, both have the same way of thinking and thats what disturbs me. Pointing fingers at each other is like point fingers in the mirror. Same sh*t, different can. About your comment in regard to cities and liberals... I live in Kansas, heart of America and heart of the conservatives. We have conservative governor that is bankrupting us, and our future. Check it out, if you don't believe me. A bad conservative is just as bad as a bad liberal.
