My grandpa had a saying, "Never let them know where your goat is tied." You can write anything you want, I don't have a problem with it, as I'm sure others don't either, but the few people who do, they know where your goat is tied.

Hi Maisie: I understand what you're saying but here's another way to think about being blocked from a certain person's blog or even being blocked from several peoples blogs.

Someone writes a blog, then I think that the first one or two replies to that blog more or less set the tone for who is going to reply and how the rest of the replies are going to go. If people see the replies are sarcastic or insulting, then not many people will want to get involved and don't bother replying. So many of our blogs are like that, the same few people take over the replies and insult everyone else who replied. So if someone feels blocking is their only alternative to avoid all the insults, then that seems like a good option to me.

When one blogs about certain things, they know they'll get some negative comments. Case in point, my blog about Ireland voting to legalize gay marriages. That seems to be a topic that quite a few, including you Maisie, seem incensed about. I could have avoided that topic, but if fear of getting members upset will keep me from putting up a post, what's the point of having a blog?

Yes, I enjoyed that post. I am always open to hearing different points of view. I didn't realize that the points of view you give aren't always your own. Interesting Maisie.

I like never to let them know where your goat is tied.

And you seem to get upset about anything that has 'swastika' in the text.

My post wasn't about swastikas. I never expected that in the response. I did remove your comment then but today I wouldn't have. I have learned my lesson and kept every comment since that one. If you're honest, you will admit that you could understand why the word swastika would bother some people. I have no doubt that was your intention though I have seen a more positive side to you since that time.

In all honesty just about anything will bother some people.

Yes that's true, but some people like to incite people for the fun of it.

Boogie, a swastika might be a positive symbol to some, but will always be associated with the Nazis and the unthinkable activities they carried out, for many others.
