There is a history of rioting in Baltimore that goes back generations. The 68 MLK riots spurred large and small riots for years. It became a learned behavior that every time the opportunity arose the folks in these neighborhoods would riot and more importantly loot. Whenever there was a large snow storm, the Baltimore City police strike or any thing that would get these fine law abiding citizens pissed off, the chance of rioting was always there.

The reason this goes on and on was best demonstrated in 1974 after the Baltimore Police became one of the first unionized police departments in the country. The AFLCIO tried to make an example of Baltimore and called a strike to get a foothold on departments across the country. Just as soon as the police began to disappear from the streets all hell broke loose. Was it poverty, alleged brutality, racism, or the myriad of other left wing theories of social justice. No it was plain and simple like all the riots in Baltimore and other inner cities. Its the opportunity to take advantage of the situation to riot and loot. The cops are gone....game on!

The day prior in Baltimore, the police, by direction of their leadership, failed to handle the situation at the Oriole stadium under the misguided decision not to use any sign of force. By failing to quickly quell the violence the police broadcast their planned approach of restraint. Once this was understood by those who participated and observed or saw on TV what the police were doing, or not going to do, the writing was on the wall and the situation was going to get worse.

These Baltimore neighborhoods are the heart and soul of violent crime in the city and the criminal element is always on the lookout for any opportunity to take advantage of the weakness of the situation, elderly, weak and or unsuspecting. Looting is just another method.

There was no protesting yesterday. A group kids from Douglas high school who understood the police reaction the day prior, sent out cry for chaos on their cell phones and that is what started it. They did it knowing they could take advantage of the police restraint. All the rest just joined in as they have for decades as a opportunity to riot, loot and act like the lawless thugs they are.

The Sharptons the Black Panthers and Communist party and other groups like the AFLCIO looking to gain advantage of this come into cities like Baltimore knowing all along what they can achieve by causing a riot like yesterday and in Ferguson. Until someone identifies them and holds them criminally and civilly responsible for their actions it will continue.

For those that are quick to condemn the police for their actions without finding out the truth I can only say to put yourself in their shoes for a while. They should make all citizens work as an officer and see and learn what its like to be the only person who has to tell thugs to behave like good little boys and girls.
Imagine trying to arrest a guy twice your size or disarm someone with a knife or gun. Walk up to a car you have stopped and feel the fear of knowing this man or woman could be secreting a gun just out of site. Decide to fire a weapon and possibly take a life......all in a split second.

So next time you are in fear, danger, feel threatened.....call a reporter, commentator, politician or Al Sharpton himself I'm sure they can handle it just perfect.....just ask them!

Just what did Obama and Sharpton talk about the day after the Republicans ripped them apart on election day, civil disobedience?
