 Personally I believe it's been Barack Obama's plan all along to cripple and bring down the USA. So I think he's more of a "success" than many of us may realize.

I'm still praying that he can be stopped or at least slowed down, and that the USA can rebuild and become a truly great nation again.

You are mixing apples and oranges. I cited Obama as being an enemy of the nation. As such he needs to destroy those who would defend it. Republicans and other conservatives aren't trying to destroy the nation. They are trying to destroy the enemies of the nation. Conservatives never went after Obama to destroy the Democratic Party per se. They went after those who seek to destroy the nation, a much more important objective than any political party.

Democrats fight to support the Democratic Party. Republicans fight to support the USA. C the difference?

 Our right wing government is also trying to change the Elections Act to require more id.

Problem with this is that it's a solution looking for a problem.

There is no evidence that any significant fraud happens in elections here.

Our approach has always been to make it as easy as possible for people to vote with the goal of getting people to actually cast a ballot.

Requiring id will affect people at the bottom of the social scale most.

A few years ago elections officials were going to homeless shelters to register people to vote. This government wants to negate all that.
These are much less likely to vote for the Conservative Party currently in power than the class of person with driving permits, passports, and corporate id.
