Is it too much to expect for the suffering humanity? There is no synonym for the words “mother’s tears for her dead ”. Mucad Ibrahim's mother is surely no different! The youngest victim of cold-blooded planed massacre in Christchurch: Mucad Ibrahim, 3 has since been laid to rest today. The innocent three-year-old Mucad Ibrahim has apparently paid the price for being born in a family who are practicing members of one of the three feuding ‘Abrahamic religions'--Judaism, Christianity and Islam. Rest in Peace, Mucad. It is wondered when will the ongoing inter religion feuding and hatred be stopped? When would sanity be returned among the extremists of feuding ‘Abrahamic religions'? When such senseless atrocities against each other would no longer be there? Is it too much to expect world leaders to learn from the Prime Minister of New Zealand what to do in such situations? Mucad Ibrahim belonged to the God and to Him he has returned. |

" They are fathers, mothers, grandparents, daughters and sons. They are refugees, immigrants and New-Zealand born. They are Kiwis."

LOOK, I AM NOT SURE THE AUSTRALIAN TERRORIST REALLY ACTED FOR RELIGIOUS REASONS. OF COURSE HE SAYS HE DID, HE USED A CONSPIRACY THEORY SO MANY PEOPLE USE TO JUSTIFY VIOLENCE. I AM CONVINCED MOST OF THOSE GUNMAN ARE REALLY ACTING MORE BECAUSE IT'S JUST PLAIN FOR THE "FUN" AND FAME THEY WILL GET OUT OF THEIR ACTIONS. THERE ARE SOME EXCEPTIONS OF COURSE. IN BURMA IT IS BUDDHIST MONKS THAT ATTACKED THE MUSLIM POPULATION, NOT JEWS OR CHRISTIANS. GO FIGURE.

One of my favourite quotes is from "Cry The Beloved Country" "There is only one way in which one can endure man's inhumanity to man and that is to try, in one's own life, to exemplify man's humanity to man." "The inhumanity of man toward man is our greatest sin." Alan Paton. We should all mourn together.

Considering all of the killings and prejudice derived or based on religion would the world be a better place without it? Party On!

There is a song lyric that I often think of. ( God bless little children while they are still too young to hate.)

I admire the action taken by the New Zealand government.....they didn't pause for "thoughts and prayers" but went right to work and within 24 hours banned all assault-style rifles.........

There is however some similarity between what happened in Rakhine State of Burma and Christchurch, New Zealand. Besides inter religion feuding, immigration has also been cited as another cause for the massacres that happened.

Please allow me to quote a line here from my favorite Poet Robert Burns poem called “Man was made to mourn: A Dirge in 1784”: “Man's inhumanity to man makes countless thousands mourn.”

Jo, I agree with you. No doubt, it is just too sickening to watch what goes on. It is more heartbreaking to watch the live stream of such hate crime event broadcasted for 17 minutes on internet by the perpetrator himself!

No doubt jo, the reasons behind such inhuman acts are nothing but pure hatred, prejudice and plain evil as mentioned by you!

It is beyond human comprehension, Deb! We can only mourn together for such unacceptable deaths! Thanks for stopping by and for your post.

Not much mention of the heroic Muslim man who subdued the killer. He took him down using an EFTPOS Machine. Must've busted it over his head. Then he and another fellow held him until the police arrived. Very brave. Also very controlled not to throttle him or shoot him when they had the chance. The Killer says he is going to go to Valhalla. I have news for him. To enter Valhalla one must 1. Die in Battle. 2. With a Sword in your Hand. 3. Believe in the (Norse) Gods. 4. Be a Viking. That moron killer fails on all four counts. I'll bet he can not even spell 'Valhalla'. Still, he will have the rest of his life in prison to learn to spell.
